Descriptions The first United States MAC store opened in 1991, in Greenwich Village, New York. Originally selling products designed specifically for professional makeup artists, MAC now sells products to consumers worldwide. This store is located on the south side of the Somerset Collection, on Big Beaver Road in Troy. MAC has products for eyes, lips, face, skin care and nails, and also sells minerals, fragrances, brushes and accessories. The MAC Cruelty-Free Beauty program prohibits animal testing in any of MAC's products, and is extended to ingredient suppliers. MAC also offers a recycling incentive program: At this store, customers will receive a free lipstick when they return six empty plastic or glass MAC containers (includes lipsticks, eyeshadows, glosses, wipes, etc.). |
